CARERS for people with dementia are being invited to a training session in Dorchester .
The St John Ambulance Dorset Carers Support Programme is running an event for any spouse, family member or friend who looks after someone with memory loss or dementia on Wednesday, August 29.
The session, which is entirely free due to funding from NHS Dorset, runs from 10am to 3pm at its headquarters in Bridport Road and will include lunch.
Carers Support Programme lead manager Julie McDermott said: “We will provide you with information on accessing further help and support.”
