THE Princess Royal is among the VIPs watching Olympic sailing in Weymouth and Portland today, super sailing Sunday.
Princess Anne is among the thousands of spectators cheering on Olympic champion Ben Ainslie who is hoping for his fourth gold in the Finn class. Racing starts at 2pm.
First up however is defending Olympic Star keelboat sailors Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson who go into today’s medals showdown with an eight-point lead over their main rivals. The pair are guaranteed a medal whatever happens in the event, which starts at 1pm.
Thousands of people are pouring into town to watch the medal races.
