DAREDEVIL fundraisers are being invited to take a giant leap for ape kind.

Monkey World near Bovington is organising another bungee jump on Sunday, September 16 in aid of the charity set up in tribute to the ape rescue centre’s founder, the late Jim Cronin.

People are invited to experience the exhilaration of a bungee jump from a 165ft-high platform and enjoy a great day out while raising funds for a good cause.

Those brave enough to ‘jump for Jim’ will need to raise £75 in sponsorship and will receive a souvenir T-shirt plus entry to Monkey World.

This is the second time a bungee jump has been organised for the Jim Cronin Memorial Fund and comes at a time when Monkey World celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The memorial fund supports primate conservation and welfare all over the world and ensures primates rescued have a long, happy and healthy retirement.

Jumpers who sign up will be in good company as also taking part is the park’s director Dr Alison Cronin , plus other staff members.

People who would prefer to keep their feet on the ground can still get involved by sponsoring Alison and coming along on the day.
