We went to Bowleaze Cove for a play on the beach and had fish and chips.

We had a lovely evening but we were very upset and disappointed at the amount of rubbish that was left on the beach, items such as cans, nappies, fishing nets and hooks, broken deckchairs, barbecue trays and lots more rubbish.

We both got some plastic bags and decided to go on a beach clean.

We collected three bags of rubbish and put them in the rubbish bin, which made the beach look a lot cleaner.

We would like to know whether there are clean-up events that happen on the beach as we would like to help.

We both think it would be a great event to happen and encourage people to take their rubbish home with them or put it in the bins provided.

We hope you print this letter in the Echo to tell people not to leave their rubbish on the beach and make it look a mess.
