Last Monday, the residents of lower Wyke Regis had to live with the Wyke pong hanging over us.
Fingers pointed at different individuals, but the real culprit was the council, which plonked a sewage transferral plant in the middle of a housing estate.
We have had the usual apologies from Wessex Water but people have given up.
Why wasn’t the plant put on the other end of Weymouth’s sewage system at Preston ?
The reason why it was put in a condensed residential area was Preston is Preston and Walker Crescent is Walker Crescent.
