STAFF at the Wilkinson store in Weymouth have raised almost £2,500 following the launch of a new charity partnership with the RNLI.
Team members organised a series of events in order to raise awareness of the organisation’s work within the community.
They donned fancy dress and charity T-shirts while customers were invited to partake in a host of fun activities.
These included ‘wear your wellies to work’, a tea party, bring-and-buy sales and raffles, which saw lucky customers walk away with some great prizes.
Tim Williams, store manager, said: “We couldn’t be more pleased that we are supporting the RNLI, which we as a team nominated as our regional charity of the year.
He added: “We plan to continue raising lots of money for the charity so that we can help make a difference in our local community.”
