WEYMOUTH & Portland Cruising Association members enjoyed a competitive evening at The Lugger Inn when social secretary, Jacqui Crawley, organised a skittles evening.
With a variety of skills much of the play was down to luck rather than skill but after three rounds the team lead by John Atkinson came out on top.
The evening concluded with a game of knockout skittles with Kate Harley being the winner, when after several attempts from other players, she knocked down the final pin.
Next Tuesday, March 26, Mark Lockie from Dorset Marine Surveys will be giving a talk on the latest MCA directive on the use of pleasure craft for semi-commercial purposes such as race marshalling and training.
He will touch on the requirements for insurance surveys with some horror stories from some of his work at 8pm at Castle Cove Sailing Club and all local sailors are welcome.
