Youngsters at St Andrew’s Primary School in Weymouth have been marking Children’s Mental Health Week.
Lots of children have used art to express themselves, drawing the things which make them feel good and using their favourite colours in creative ways.
On Wednesday (and every Wednesday), pupils are encouraged to get away from their screens. This week the children did some craft, baked biscuits, made bird feeders and spent lots of time outside.
On Friday, pupils had a Dress to Express day and raised money for the charity Place2Be. Children wore their very favourite clothes while they did their home learning.
Mental health and wellbeing lead Mrs Belcher said: “It is important to celebrate the children’s individuality. We are all different but part of the same school community.”
