NEW courses are on offer at Dorchester Middle School to help adults with English and mathematics.
The school, in Queen's Avenue, is running a free "Move On in English" course from October onwards.
It is on Wednesday nights from 5pm to 7pm and leads to a nationally-recognised qualification, equivalent to a GCSE.
The school says it is aiming to support the community and raise standards in English and maths for adult learners.
Adults are encouraged to take the courses to improve their literacy and numeracy, gain a qualification and enhance their prospects.
