Dorset Adult Learning Exhibition at Weymouth Library

An exhibition of work and display of opportunities takes place at Weymouth Library thanks to Dorset Adult Learning during the first week of September.

Students will get the chance to show off their hard work with displays of arts and crafts but the very wide range of activities on offer by DAL will also be high lighted.

Curriculum Manager for Arts, Crafts & Media Rob Peain says: “This is a fantastic opportunity for people to really see what we get up to and how you can enrich your life through learning, whatever your interests. We really do have something for everybody and with courses taking place at 170 venues around Dorset, you’re never far from learning and having fun at the same time.”

He continues: “Our current learners are ideally placed to showcase their work and encourage other people to enrol on our courses. Exhibitions such as this help people understand what’s attainable and achievable and we warmly welcome everybody.”

The exhibition opens at the library in Great George Street (Tel: 01305 762 410) on Tuesday 1st September at 9.30am closing at 5.30pm. It continues throughout the week (Wednesday 9.30am – 1pm, Thursday 9.30am – 7pm, Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm) with the final day being Saturday (9am – 4pm).
