LAST week we featured this photo of Springfield House in Weymouth which came to us through Geoffrey Pritchard's photo collection.
The photo shows a large group of people at a parish function at the house, which was owned by the Devenish family of the famous Weymouth brewery.
Thanks to Marie Foster who got in touch to say that she recognised her dad in the photo - her grandfather worked at Devenish for more than 40 years until he retired in the early 1970s.
She said: "My father remembers the garden party when he was a small boy in the 1930s as the staff and families were invited. He is the boy on the left near the front.
"The Devenish family were very good to their staff and provided an annual day out in London by train for the staff and their families."
