THIS image shows the choirs and clergy of Holy Trinity and Hope United Reform Church taking part in the Rogationtide service of the Blessing of the Waters at Weymouth Harbour in May 1972.
They were accompanied by the Salvation Army band.
The service was conducted from the deck of the pleasure vessel Weymouth Belle. Thanks to Geoff Pritchard for the trip down memory lane.
