THIS glorious picture of a jam-packed Bowleaze Cove makes us yearn for those lazy, hazy days of summer - especially now the Christmas rush is fully on.
It is thought this photo of an incredibly packed beach was taken in the late 1930s or 1940s.
As you can see, there's hardly a spare spot on the beach and it looks as though most people in the water are wearing bathing hats.
You can also spot the Riviera Hotel, the Pontins Holiday Camp and the many people making their way up the cliff.
Thanks to our friends at the Over 60 and live in Weymouth and Portland group for this lovely summer flashback.
