WE'VE had wintery conditions aplenty in the last week, but certainly nothing so far to top the winter of 1962.
This picture is of Jim Perkins posing in Courtlands Road, Portland during a blizzard in 1962.
Jim remembers: "We were very isolated on Portland, it was very slippery and impossible to drive.
"I had to shovel the snow away from the doors of my house to get out."
Jim was wondering whether this winter would be as bad and says he's got his camera at the ready for further snow!
