HERE'S an interesting sight on Portland.
An extra wide load, the vessel Sea Hop, being transported down Fortuneswell High Street in 1991 to be taken to the dockyard.
Sea Hop was taken the wrong way down the one way system by Portland Plant Hire, prompting many an onlooker to come out into the street and see this extraordinary sight.
Also of interest is the sign indicating a Lloyds bank in Fortuneswell.
Former Echo photographer Geoff Moore captured this lively scene, which reminds us here at Looking Back of why we love unpredictable Portland so much - we love the colourful hanging baskets along the street and the view of the hill behind the wide load.
