Here's another evocative image of Dorset from late Dorset Evening Echo photographer Harry Green.
It's of Pennsylvania Castle on Portland, with its recognisable ramparts and coastal views.
The castle appeared as Sylvania Castle in Thomas Hardy's 1892 novel The Well-Beloved.
During the Second World War, Winston Churchill, General Eisenhower and General de Gaulle visited the castle, where they met to finalise their plans for the Normandy landings.
