After yesterday’s visit to Weymouth town centre in the 1980s ahead of dramatic changes which spruced up the town centre, today we are taking a visit to Dorchester town centre in the 1990s.
Wellworths and Kwik Save to Safeways, Dorchester has been home to many different shops over the decades. These photographs show the selection of retailers that ruled the streets in the 1990s.

One of the mainstays still in Dorchester is the much loved Dodgson’s of Dorchester DIY and hardware store.
