We all love a good restaurant to share a plate of food and a laugh.
Since reopening their doors we've been steadily showing our support by eating out - and saved ourselves some washing up in the process.
However, come tomorrow, Thursday, November 5, they'll have shut their doors once again for the national lockdown until December 2.
So we thought it'd be timely to take a trip down memory lane and remember some of our favourite Weymouth and Portland restaurants of the past.
Scroll down to see how many you remember.
1.) No. 4 - formerly Perry's and Oasis bistro and wine room, Trinity Road, Weymouth harbourside
This popular harbourside seafood restaurant closed in January 2017.
The building that housed number No 4 had been a restaurant in many different forms, first as Perry’s.
It was also formerly the Oasis bistro and wine room.
No 4 restaurant was well-regarded, with a four out of five rating on TripAdvisor.
People took to Facebook to express their sadness at the closure.
2.) Salt restaurant, Brewer's Quay, Weymouth
Blink and you may have missed this one.
This ‘pop-up bar and kitchen’ opened to coincide with Weymouth hosting the sailing events of the London Olympics in 2012.
The interior of what was once the Excise House pub at Brewer's Quay was transformed to become industrial-looking in style and full of clean lines and minimalist dining furniture.
Salt was the brainchild of the team behind the Stables pizzeria.
3.) The Dining Room restaurant, St Mary Street, Weymouth
This popular family-run town centre restaurant had a real Mediterranean influence.
It even featured in BBC’s A Taste of Britain with presenters Janet Street-Porter and Brian Turner spending four hours filming with chef Taher Jibit.
4.) The Bluefish Cafe, Chiswell, Portland
Portlanders were devastated when this popular seafood restaurant closed in 2014.
The Bluefish Café and Restaurant had been run by Luciano Da Silva and his wife Jo since 2003.
However, prior to this November lockdown, the Nook Cocktail Club had been hosting 'Portland pop ups' at the venue.
5.) Mallams, Trinity Street, Weymouth
After 28 years on Weymouth’s harbourside, Mallams restaurant closed in January 2019.
The Mallams building, which was originally built as a Tudor cottage, had served as a shop and then a barber’s during the Second World War.
Before owners Janice and Steve Gosson took it over, it had been a restaurant called ‘The Lazy Prawn’.
