Here's a wonderfully nostalgic look at Dorchester from days gone by.
These photos of the county town were taken in the 1930s.
They show South Street and what looks like a wonderful array of shops including the Dorchester Boot Market, The Home and Colonial, the Dyers and Cleaners, a chemist and a very neat display outside a florist's shop.
Looking down South Street in one direction you can see the Corn Exchange.
Also recognisable is the old clock outside what is now the Napper's Mite tearooms and the church spire of the United Church in South Street.
