Today we take another trip down memory lane with more pictures of Dorset's shopping past.
As we look forward to the re-opening of non-essential shops in England, we share with you images of when many stores in Dorset towns prided themselves upon their smart-looking shopfronts.
Among the pictures are some evocative old images of Dorchester from the 1970s along with earlier pictures of popular jeweller T. Braybrooke, which was opposite the Corn Exchange.
As you can see from the advert below, T. Braybrooke was a goldsmith and silversmith from which you could buy 'a splendid selection of silver goods for wedding presents'. Gem rings were a speciality and the shop was also known for its range of souvenir spoons.
Another Dorchester shop featured today is A.H. Bugler on South Street.
We also pay a visit down to Weymouth where we feature the upmarket ladies outfitters Ann Richards, which was in St. Thomas Street.
