The Borough Gardens are the jewel in the crown of Dorchester.
Immaculately kept, they look as beautiful now as they did many years ago, as you can see from these old photos.
The gardens have provided a much welcome refuge for residents taking their daily walks during the coronavirus lockdowns.

The Borough Gardens were laid out to a plan by William Goldring of Kew, and were opened to the public on 30th July 1896.
