Here are just some of the postcards belonging to avid collector Andy Hutchings.
Andy, of Weymouth, devoted a large part of his life to collecting postcards of the area, many of which featured photographs taken by local photographer Edwin Seward.
Sadly Andy passed away last year but the historic images of Weymouth and surrounding areas that he took so much trouble to share with Dorset Echo readers live on.

Here, in the first of a series is a collection of Andy's postcards showing Dorset in bygone scenes. They're a mixture of landscapes, people, and even some 'newsy' photos - with one here depicting a military funeral.
