Qualifications and experience: Andy is a qualified mechanic and has worked at a number of garages in Weymouth and Dorchester over a seven-year period.

For the last nine years he has been doing security work and is qualified to drive vehicles up to three and a half tonnes.

He has a level two NVQ qualification in management, gained while working at a university and seven GCSEs.

He also has a full driving licence and is looking to gain a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card soon.

Andy has also done some voluntary work for the Salvation Army at music camps for children.
