I find it offensive that Chris Loder (“Letters” page, 20/4/22) uses the appalling situation in Ukraine as a reason to continue supporting Boris Johnson.

The briefest glimpse at British history will show that we have previously replaced Prime Ministers during a war, so why should it be so difficult to do so now?
We have a Prime Minister in office who has broken his own laws.
What Mr Loder describes as a “media witch-hunt” is, I believe, normally known as “honest investigative reporting”.
