At £110 million each, the manufacture of the Eurofighter Typhoon seems like a clever scheme to deprive the taxpayer of money.

As was our membership of the EU.

There have been no dogfights reported over Ukraine, but many planes downed by missiles.

Dirt-cheap drones seem quite capable of seeing what is happening on the battlefield.

Also, my hunch is that billion pound aircraft carriers are sitting ducks.
