The Dorset County Show has teamed up with Newsquest to offer five pairs of tickets to this year’s event, which takes place on Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3, at the Dorchester Showground.
Organised by Dorchester Agricultural Society, the two-day event, which is sponsored by The Duchy of Cornwall and the Developers of Poundbury, attracts more than 60,000 people each year since it began in 1840.
The main focus of the show is to promote agribusiness through traditional competitions, events, and demonstrations.
This year’s main ring attraction will include Jonathan Marshall with a falconry display on horseback, as well as show jumping, and a grand parade of livestock each day. Visitors can also browse more than 450 trade stands, visit the ‘Dorset Food Hall’, and enjoy a host of live entertainment.
