PORTLAND Rotary Club handed over a cheque to help a community choir at HMP Verne. In the past the club has helped the Jailhouse café at the Verne by donating cookery books and help and support.
They handed over a cheque to enable the continuation of a community choir currently running within the prison. They also sponsored some new aprons for the men working in the Jailhouse Café.
