NEW EQUIPMENT means neurophysiology patients at Dorset County Hospital can be monitored outside from afar.
The Friends of Dorset County Hospital have funded a remote EEG machine that records electrical activity in the brain and diagnoses conditions such as epilepsy.
The group has also donated some fun rucksacks for children to carry the machine in and some hand warmers for patients coming in for nerve tests.
The donations were gratefully received by Allison Tate and Monica Freeman from the neurophysiology department as Friends representatives Sue Mason, Sharon Merritt and Teresa Sear dropped in to hand over the equipment.
