BRENDON King is in talks with a Football League club about the possibility of taking a defender on loan.
With Kyle Critchell out injured and Ed Palmer, Craig Duff and Scott Walker all set to serve suspensions, the Terras are in desperate need of cover as they continue their bid for a play-off spot in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division.
King, pictured above, told Echosport: “I am close to tying something up with a League club but until it is done I cannot really say any more than that.
“The lad in question has been in and around the first team and hopefully we can get him in by the weekend.”
The Weymouth boss is also targeting a midfielder. He added: “There is movement with another player too, but we will just have to wait and see.”
