CALVIN Brooks and Will Gape will miss Dorchester Town Reserves’ clash with AFC Totton in the Wyvern Premier League tomorrow night (7.45pm).

Centre-half Brooks has family commitments while midfielder Gape is recovering from a non-football-related operation.

Manager Dave Kiteley is also without the services of injured duo Adam Taylor (hamstring) and Jack Twyford (ankle) but George Kimber is fit again following a calf strain.

The previous meeting between the two sides came on the opening day of the season when Totton edged the Magpies in a 3-2 win at the Avenue.

But tomorrow night's hosts have had a mixed campaign, something highlighted in their last outing when they lost 4-1 at home to bottom-of-the-table Fleet Town.

Dorchester have had their two most recent league fixtures postponed but did beat Wimborne Town to go through to the final of the Wyvern Challenge Cup where they will take on Sholing at New Milton on Saturday, May 4.

“Adam is still out but might be back before the end of the season and Jack is looking a bit more positive,” said Kiteley. “He could be back training within 10 days, which would be a bonus.

“George is fine and Dan Way is back playing but Calvin is unavailable and Will is out until further notice.

“He will be a big loss because he’s probably been our most consistent player this season.”

As for his side’s opponents, he went on to say: “I think they are probably the best side we’ve played this season.

“We played them in the first game of the season and it was a cracking game though, unfortunately they beat us 3-2.”
