WEYMOUTH boss Garry Hill praised the character of his players after they claimed a 3-2 win against Grays Athletic at the Wessex Stadium.
It was the Terras' first win in Nationwide Conference National since October 14 and it has moved them back up to fourth.
Hill, whose side did not win a single game in November, said: "I am very pleased. We had a terrible November by the standards we have set but I have always said that this league is a marathon and over the course of the season you are going to have some bad periods.
"We have been working hard in training and I would like to think of today as a start. The players showed the desire and character today that I asked them to and over the 90 minutes I thought we deserved to win.
