DEVASTATED Magpies' manager Mick Jenkins was "bitterly disappointed" not to return from the Dripping Pan with all three points after his team's much improved performance in last night's 2-2 Conference South draw at Lewes.
The Rooks equalised with ten seconds of stoppage time remaining to rob Dorchester of an away win in blustery conditions in East Sussex.
Jenkins' men had fought back from a goal down with two goals in three second-half minutes from Matt Groves and Steve Flack.
Flack's first goal for the club in his second appearance looked to have won the game before Lee Farrell - an 80th minute substitute and the last throw of the dice for the hosts' manager Steve King - levelled.
"I am absolutely gutted for the players, having come so close to a victory," said Jenkins.
