LEWESTON School held their annual inter-schools show jumping competition and the ever-popular event welcomed more than 100 riders, representing schools from across the south west.
Hosts Leweston did exceptionally well with teams finishing second and third, and individuals placed first and second in Class Three of the event.
Ruby Russo from Perrott Hill scooped Class One, Mollie Diment from Beaminster was victorious in Class Two and Perdi Digby sealed success for Leweston in Class Three.
Team Results
Class One (10-and-under) (60-65cm): 1 Perrott Hill, 2 Hazlegrove, 3 Trent Youngs and St Andrew’s.
Class Two (12-and-under) (70-75cm): 1 Hazlegrove, 2 Perrott Hill, 3 The Gryphon.
Class Three (14-and-under) (80-90cm): 1 Woodroffe, 2 Leweston, 3 Leweston.
Individual Results
Class One (10-and-under) (60-65cm): 1 Ruby Russo (Perrott Hill), 2 George Williams (Dumpton), 3 Beatrice Southcombe (Trent Youngs).
Class Two: (12-and-under) (70-75cm): 1 Mollie Diment (Beaminster), 2 Aemelia Hunt (Perrott Hill), 3 Sam Cobb (Hazlegrove).
Class Three (14-and-under) (80-90cm): 1 Perdi Digby (Leweston), 2 Mimi Digby (Leweston), 3 Jemima Madden (St Mary’s, Calne).
