Weymouth College students competed at the British Colleges National Championship finals at Loughborough University and took home the silver medal in the SLD five-a-side football competition.
There were more than 2,000 other participants in the championship finals from a variety of sports including volleyball, rugby, swimming, golf, cross country, football, hockey and basketball.
Competition was tough and the team played well to achieve a silver medal.
Top scorer for Weymouth College was Ricky Taylor with 11 goals.
Goalkeeper Robert Keogh played in every match and kept a clean sheet in three of them. Toby Beacock and David Riley were sound in defence while Jon Gibbens, Ford Dixon and Tim Owen were a constant threat up front.
A college spokesman said: "This is a great achievement for the students as this was the first year that the BCS had a SLD five-a-side provision and it looks like it will be there in the future, so next year we hope to walk away with the gold."
