Weymouth Youth Bowling Club president Pete Webb, right, receives a cheque for £750 from Linda Kenyon from sponsors Babcock.
This is the second year that the Blandford-based firm has given backing to WYBC and the money will be used to purchase another shirt for each bowler.
Lottery funding was gained last year and that helped the club purchase a new camcorder, set up training programmes, and train new instructors.
The result has been some very encouraging performances with Laura Rogers and Emma Williams being selected to represent Wales in forthcoming National competitions, and Matt Ford being on the verge of England selection.
WYBC runs every Saturday morning at Lakeside Superbowl starting at 9.50am and any new members, from age four to 18, are welcome.
