COLFOX School student Oscar Tweed is celebrating having been selected to represent Great Britain in the Copa Atlantico Cup held in Portugal in July.
The 14-year-old, who trains with the West Dorset Swimming Club in Dorchester, is no novice to international competition.
Following his crowning as 2005 National Triathlon Champion, Tweed formed part of the GB team who competed in Monaco in 2006 where he came ninth as an individual.
Warriors' head coach, Janet Hewitt said: "We're proud of Oscar's selection to the Great Britain team once again. He is staying focused on his training despite the pressures of starting his GCSEs.
"His determination to succeed really shows - all credit to him. Everyone at West Dorset Swimming Club wish him the very best for Portugal."
