BROADSTONE II 239-6 (25pts) beat BEAMINSTER 204 (8pts) by 35 runs
BEAMINSTER are still on the hunt for their first victory in Dorset Funeral Plan League Division One after defeat at The Delph.
Richard Bugler's men could only muster 204 after the newly-promoted Broadstone side had posted 239-6 in their 45 overs.
The defeat added to consecutive reversals at the hands of Dorch-ester, Swanage and Stalbridge and completed a depressing month at the Memorial Ground.
Bugler's men, the only side in the league without a triumph, are now bottom of the pile following Wimborne and Colehill's victory over Bridport.
Batting first Broadstone compiled their match-winning total courtesy of a century from Trinniman. The opening batsman notched 107 before he was trapped in front by Ian Hutchings (2-51).
Beaminster had earlier reduced their hosts to 63-3, with Ross Baker (2-50) bagging two scalps, before Trinniman and Trembath shared a stand of 80 for the fourth wicket.
On top of that stand further partnerships of 39 and 57 propelled the home side over 200 and into competitive territory at their small headquarters.
Simon Jones was the most economical of the Beaminster bowlers with 1-31 in his nine overs. But the rest of Bugler's attack failed to keep a lid on the Broadstone batsmen.
The returning Fred Ethering-ton, who has been sidelined for more than a year through injury, conceded 42 runs in his nine overs and the other four men went at more than five-an-over as Beaminster chased leather in the sunshine.
But despite their mediocre start the visitors were still positive at tea, knowing that The Delph is one of the most fast-scoring grounds in the league.
And despite losing Australian Grant Vink for just one, Bugler and Chris Park shared a positive stand for the second wicket.
But when both players were removed in the 30s the visitors lost their way. Jones quickly followed for a duck and Russ Hurford for five, both removed by Simon Abbott, who was Beam-inster's chief destroyer with 5-47.
Richard Runyard (20), Baker (21), Joe Hawkins (25) and Hutchings (27) all contributed late in the innings to snatch maximum batting points but they failed to mount a successful fight back and when Abbott removed Richard Puzey they were all out for 204.
