DORCHESTER begin their Dorset & Wilts One South campaign at Swanage & Wareham Seconds tomorrow (3pm) where both sides are set to field strong teams in the derby encounter.
A hard fought game is expected with some newer players for Dorchester coming into the squad.
County town coach, Paul Dunne, said: “I’m pleased with the effort and work rate in all pre-season games and will be looking at areas to improve for the upcoming season.”
The club’s second XV start at home against North Dorset in Dorset & Wilts Two South tomorrow (3pm). In the same division Bridport go to Bournemouth Fourths.
*In Southern Counties South, Swanage & Wareham’s first team get their season underway when they make the trip to Sherborne tomorrow (3pm).
The Swans were relegated from South West One East last season with just three wins coming from 26 league games.
