WEY Valley School and Sports College's annual sports presentation evening was a big success according to teacher and organiser Stuart Heath.
Marcus Biles and Sophie Lewis were awarded with the Laura Moss Sports Personality of the Year Awards, Louis Hall and Amy Wild scooped the Jacqui Hampson Dedication to Sporting Excellence Awards and Robert Moscrop and Jenny Derrett were presented with the Dedication to Extra Curricular PE and Sport Awards.
Heath said: "There were three main awards as well as lots of other awards like player of the year and team of the year for each respective sport, and the presentation covered everything from swimming to skiing.
"More than 350 pupils and parents attended and the guest speaker was Peter Gardover who was an Olympic rower in Athens.
"It was a great evening and it has been a good year.
"Many of our teams did well and we have also had individual cases like Jemma Tewkesbury and Amy Wild who have progressed well in their sports."
