DORCHESTER Town midfielder Barry McConnell has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 30-year-old former Exeter City star was unable to commit to training at the club's facility in Bournemouth so it was felt in everyone's best interest to allow him to move on.
McConnell joined the Magpies at the end of January 2007 and made 19 appearances for the first team scoring two goals.
Meanwhile the scheduled friendly against Oxford United on Saturday, July 21 at the Avenue Stadium has been cancelled.
