DORCHESTER Town have announced that midfielder Ollie Griggs has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the club.
The talented teenager, who came into the side under boss Craig Laird last term, is set to remain at the avenue until 2019.
A statement from the club said: “Dorchester Town are delighted to announce that exciting young player Oliver Griggs has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the Avenue Stadium until the end of the 2019 season.
“Ollie, 18, a pacey midfielder, who signed for the Magpies from Wimborne Town in January 2017, was one of manager Craig Laird’s first acquisitions.
“He has proved himself to be a very competitive determined player with excellent short and long range passing skills, he fits in perfectly with Craig's football philosophy and has been rewarded for his hard work last season.”
