Puddletown captain Adam Barrett insists it is time for his charges to "stand up and be counted" when they host Shaftesbury at Puddletown Rec in County Division Four today (1.30pm).
Despite both sides having already secured their places in County Division Three next season, today's game will settle the destination of the Division Four silverware.
When speaking about the contest, Barrett said: “It’s great for the club to involved in another title decider going into the last game of the season.
"We had this exact situation earlier in the season for the evening league against St George’s, where we came out on top, so hopefully we can do the same again."
Although Puddletown suffered a defeat against their title rivals earlier in the season, Barrett is confident that his constantly improving side will go out and take revenge.
He said: “We took a bit of a hammering at their place and we were something like 50 or 60 for 9 at drinks.
"We learned a lot about both ourselves and Shaftesbury that day though, so hopefully we can take that forward into the game.”
Puddletown make one change from the side that beat Cerne Valley Seconds last week, with talisman Tim Orford replacing the unavailable Dave Morris.
