DORCHESTER Town have been drawn at home in the first round of the Setanta Shield where they will entertain Eastleigh.

The Magpies' first round match of the newly named cup competition will take place on Tuesday, October 2 (7.45pm).

A win for the county town side will see them travel to the winner of the Basing-stoke Town v Hampton & Richmond tie.

The third round draw has also been made and should Dorchester get there they will welcome either Newport County, Bath City or Weston-super-Mare to the Avenue Stadium in December.

Blue Square Premier sides, including Weymouth, enter the competition in round four. No doubt Magpies fans will relish the prospect of playing their fierce rivals.
