BALTI Sports and Bridport Reserves have had their Dorset Premier League matches postponed today due to waterlogged pitches.

The two sides had been scheduled to kick-off at 2pm, with Balti away against Wareham Rangers while Bridport Reserves were due to face Mere Town at St Mary's Field.

Balti will next be in action at home against Sherborne Town Reserves on Saturday January 6 while Bridport Reserves will face Sturminster Newton away on the same day.

Balti Sports manager Marco Nott had been looking forward to getting back onto the pitch, with his side not having played since Saturday December 9.

The Bridport first team had their Boxing Day encounter at St Mary's Field against Street postponed and the pitch has not been able to recover sufficiently in time for today.

The Bridport first team match in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division away against Wellington is still on (3pm) as well as Portland United's game in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division against Bashley at Grove Corner (3pm).
