WEYMOUTH have appointed two new members to the club's board of directors.

Simon Etherington and Mark Golsby have accepted the Terras' invitation to join the board, while Ian White has been made a non-executive director.

Golsby takes up his new role having undertaken a position as welfare officer at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

White was also heavily connected to the club having had a significant role in the popular Wessex Fantasy Football initiative.

Earlier this month, Weymouth appointed Alan Pepperell to serve as acting chairman.

Pepperell's appointment came after Steve Mills, who took over from former chairman Chris Pugsley, resigned in early January.

This month's developments leave Weymouth without a vice-chairman, while Golsby will continue in his welfare officer role.

On the pitch, Weymouth are set to continue their efforts to gain promotion from the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division when they make the long trip to Hertfordshire to face Royston Town tonight (7.45pm).

The Terras currently lie fourth and face an in-form Royston side that has won nine of their past 10 home games en route to climbing into eighth place.
