DORCHESTER Sports will hope to return from a three-week league absence when they host Gillingham Town at the Avenue Stadium in the Dorset Premier League tomorrow (2pm).
Sports’ boss Ashley James said: “It’s disappointing. It’s hard to stay motivated when they keep getting called off in the morning. It’s deflating.”
However, James does not expect a repeat of last season’s epic clash.
He said: “Last year was the best game I’ve ever been involved in. We were 3-0 down with 20 minutes left and we beat them 4-3. It’s one of the craziest games I’ve seen.
“They will have that deep in their minds and won’t let that happen again.”
Captain Jamie Symes (broken ribs) returns, as does Jamie Rawlings, but Brandon Heal (foot) misses out.
