WEYMOUTH are still looking to strengthen, director of football Paul Maitland has revealed.
The Terras have so far secured a raft of players for next season and have signed Tony Lee and Jordan Seabright.
Maitland said: “We are pleased, we have done a lot of our business early, we did not particularly feel we needed to go too far outside of the group that we had last season so we are really pleased to secure most of them for next season.
“We are still looking for another couple, there are a couple of areas that we could do with possibly strengthening.
“We know we have players that can fill in those positions if need be so it is waiting for the right player to become available if he is available and obviously fits in the club’s playing budget and structure.
“It is not just a case of finding someone, it is finding someone that fits into the group and philosophy.”
“We are not about that, we are about a sensible budget that is sustainable, does not put the club at risk and building things.”
In addition to Seabright and Lee, Weymouth have so far secured: Brandon Goodship, Jake McCarthy, Callum Buckley, Ashley Wells, Ben Thomson, Josh Carmichael, Jordan Ngalo, Stephane Zubar, Charlie Davis, Josh Wakefield, Steve Boore, Harry Baker and Abdulai Baggie.
