WEYMOUTH attended the Sidmouth Regatta where there some fine performances from all the crews.
A special mention for the ladies’ A crew who went tantalisingly close to beating Bridport in the first race of the day with one second between them at the finish.
Weymouth finished fifth overall and remain fourth in the Jurassic League.
Crews will be preparing for the upcoming rounds in Brixham next and then Lyme Regis in August.
Meanwhile, the burgeoning junior section of the club has been going from strength to strength.
A crew are preparing to go to Newquay to compete in the under-16 championships.
The young seasiders are training hard for this as well as for the Lyme Regis Regatta in August.
