DORCHESTER Town have made their third signing this week after announcing the capture of Exeter City midfielder Harry Kite on a six-month loan deal.

Kite, who played for the Grecians during their 2-0 win over Weymouth, joins the Magpies from St James Park having sufficiently impressed boss Steve Thompson, who watched the youngster against the Terras.

Kite, 18, has just one senior appearance for Exeter and is under contract with City until late June 2019.

The midfielder fits Thompson's want of a pressing game, as he possesses an energetic work rate and variety of passes.

Commenting on Kite's arrival, Thompson told Echosport the teenager "likes to win the ball back".

He said: "Harry's coming into the club, I watched him play for Exeter at Weymouth the other night.

"I like his energy and he likes to win the ball back. Those are two good attributes that I value quite highly."
