MELCOMBE Regis Under-16s had a great year after winning the Dorset League and only losing one game in the process.
A club spokesperson said: “It was a great season and it was great to see a group of kids from different ages groups (under-16s and under-15s) playing together and working so hard to achieve their goal.
"They also played a great style of football, it showed what hard work and some good coaching can achieve.”
This season’s awards went to:
Manager's Player: Matthew Burrows
Players' Player: Jordan Coultar
Supporters' Player: Dan Brooks
Most Improved: Alex Rockett
Clubman: Zane Samways
The team will know be playing in the Dorset Under-18 League this coming season, and they are on the look out to add new players to their squad.
Melcombe Regis are also putting an adult team into the Dorset League this coming season.
A spokesman added: "We are on the lookout for any young players looking to start playing in adult football.
"We are also looking for some older players to help bring these players along."
